Interior Design | ||||
|
Traditional interior design services usually
begin after architectural plans are drawn for new construction or
remodeling. These services include identification of theme, creation of
color palettes and style guides, development of a space plan, and selection
of interior "soft goods" (window treatments, furniture, wall coverings,
flooring and countertop materials, finishes, artwork, plants and
accessories) Consistency of the interior theme, appropriateness of products selected, and creating a true reflection of the client's tastes are some of the objectives we seek to achieve on all projects. |

Architectural Detailing | ||||
|
Architectural Detailing is a service whereby our designers work with the architect during the initial design phases of the project. By involving the interior design team in the selection of fixed items (lighting, plumbing fixtures, flooring, moldings, railings, doors, windows, cabinets), a more consistent design can be achieved. After all, these are elements which set the stage for the interiors and are very expensive to modify. Most of McKay Design Group's clients utilize our Architectural Detailing services in conjunction with the Interior Design service. |
